Shown at the left is the Nathan K3L. It has the three largest bells that are on the K5LA above and is similar on power and performance except that it does not have the two highest pitch bells. The standard musical chord for the K5LA is as follows:

                    D# F# G# B and the next octave D#.

The K3L sounds these: D# F# and B

Below here you will find information and links on the P series horns. The P series are very similar to the K horns but are a little smaller. However, their smaller size does not make them weak or wimpy by any means. The P horns are used on many locomotives and can easily be heard up to three miles ahead on a straight track.

Nathan P Series
