Note: Train horns are loud. REALLY LOUD. Make sure that you are wearing substantial hearing protection when working around or testing these signals. Regular truck horns and those so-called chrome plated train horns that you see advertised on the Internet are not in the same class as real train horns. Train horns compare favorably to the large air horns that are used on some municipal buildings and fire stations to warn an entire community. BE CAREFUL!
