Nathan K5L Train Horn
Note;
The external appearance of the K5LA and the K5L is the same. The tuning
difference in two of the bells is done inside the horn bell and therefore
the #3 bell (A#) and the #3A bell (G#) are the same physical size, as
are the # 4 bell (C) and the #4A bell (B). Use the player to the right
to hear a K5L horn which is soundwise identical to the K5H horn.
The Nathan K5L is essentially the
same as the K5LA except for the tuning of two of the horns. Therefore
its chord is slightly different. The K5L sounds D# F# A# C D#, which is
a D# minor sixth chord which is called Canadian tuning as these are used
extensively in Canada. The K5H\LA, (American tuning) sounds D# F# G# B
D#, which is a B major 6th chord.
